Many are the plans we make but must hold them loosely for things change. Andy is officially 40 today and we planned to eat at two of our cities restaurants that offer a free meal on your birthday. Today was our family of three time to celebrate. Yesterday, Andy received a call for a job interview today, so plans changed. He had to get some work done, no work, no pay, then he had to go to the interview. He did take a lunch break and got one of the free meals. When he arrived home I made tostadas, and we spent time as a family. Taylor and Daddy worked in the garden for a little while. God knows the plans he has for us and we must be willing to plan but then change course as He directs. What a birthday present that would be if Andy is hired based on this interview today. We trust God with the outcome and our plans...

Andy loves tostadas but he is the one who usually makes them. Truth be told he is the better cook. Many a times I have encouraged him to be the house chef. If you have a great pinto bean recipe please send it my way.
Yes, that is Taylor in her panties helping Daddy in the garden. She would run around naked all day if we let her. Sometimes she will only wear shorts so she can be like Daddy. Today she wore her hat like Daddy only to change her hat later to one that was shaped more like Daddy's. Too cute!
