A year and a half ago, Andy left his full time job to work from home part time. As we posted yesterday, Andy had a job interview on his birthday. Again, today, we changed his celebration plans so he could have a second interview for this job. After the interview Andy met Diana, his mother-in-law, for lunch and during lunch he received a phone call offering him the job. This position is only a temporary position through a temp agency so Andy will continue to look for a permanent position. I see this as God's birthday present to Andy. Only God knows what will come of this job and what the future holds. We trust God with the outcome and praise Him for this opportunity. Thank you for your prayers.
Andy's mom, Dorothy, and her husband, Ed, arrived from San Diego this afternoon. Andy was running around town filling out paperwork and peeing in a cup for his drug test. He starts his new job sometime next week. We were all able to enjoy dinner together. Andy and Ed ended the evening watching Food Network's Alton Brown. We shall see what tomorrow holds...
